Wat Khao Or

Probably one of the most famous temples in Thailand is Samnak Khao Or, a monastic and magical sciences institution.

Wat Khao-Or has been home to some of the most sacred monks and white robbed Ajahns, such as Ajahn Pan, Luang Phor Num and Ajahn Kong. It has also been home to some of the great amulets of this generation.

It was recorded that around 1,000 years ago many sacred ascetics had joined together at the Chattun Cave (located within the grounds of Wat Kao Or) to develop many sacred sciences. 

One day, an ascetic named “Borom Kru Lugi” forecasted that in the future, Buddhism would become far more prosperous than Hinduism (in the Kingdom of Siam.) Therefore, he had invited a Buddhist monk named “Phra Acharya Tong Huyan” to the cave and had taught all his knowledge to the monk because he knew that Buddhist monks would be the ones who would continue to preserve this magic for generations to come.

Phra Yod Khun Pon - Part I


Phra Yod Khun Pon was thought to be a fengshui buddha. Phra Yod Khun Pon is actually Buddha preaching abhidhamma in tavatimsa heaven. Sometimes other Yod Khun Pon also shows Buddha descending from tavatimsa heaven. If you notice carefully, some Yod Khun Pon are seated while same are standing.

On Pavarana Day , Buddha descends from tavatimsa heaven on stairways of jewel , gold and silver.
Normally you will see devas beside buddha. Or sometimes sometimes you will see Brahma holding the ceremonial umbrella, and Indra carrying Buddha's bowl.

Khun Paen pim lek is know for its efficacy for metta mahaniyom,sanaeh and overall protection.

Takrut Salik Archan Chum. This takrut salika comes in pair. But are encased in individual casing to keep it in excellent condition. The purpose for this takrut is for metta mahaniyom and metta mahasaneah .

Archan Chum , Mai Kru Small

This Mai Kru had been procured from a kamakarn(commitee) from Pattalung province. Excellent condition and well kept. Made from  black wood , and is filled with powder on top. Featured in Archan Chum's Tipaya Amnard book.

As everybody knows that only Mai Kru as pass down to disciples or family members from Pattalung lineages. Size is small and easy to carry around. Size is as small as a small ruler approx . 5 inch plus.

Mai Kru can be use for various purposes such as a meed moh. This Mai Kru is good for Metta , Klaew Klaad and all around protection.
