Phra Yod Khun Pon - Part I


Phra Yod Khun Pon was thought to be a fengshui buddha. Phra Yod Khun Pon is actually Buddha preaching abhidhamma in tavatimsa heaven. Sometimes other Yod Khun Pon also shows Buddha descending from tavatimsa heaven. If you notice carefully, some Yod Khun Pon are seated while same are standing.

Above are some pictures showing Buddha descends from tavatimsa heaven. Some are show Buddha preaching abhidhamma.

On Pavarana Day , Buddha descends from tavatimsa heaven on stairways of jewel , gold and silver.
Normally you will see devas beside buddha. Or sometimes sometimes you will see Brahma holding the ceremonial umbrella, and Indra carrying Buddha's bowl.

Khun Paen Archan Chum. This beautiful piece of Khun Paen pim lek , was acquire from the same kammakarn(committee) of the Mai Kru. Encased in engraved casing. Below of the khun paen with a finger pressed can be seen.
                          

Back of the khun paen is seen with the famous archan chum yant chop.


Khun Paen pim lek is know for its efficacy for metta mahaniyom,sanaeh and overall protection.

Takrut Salik Archan Chum. This takrut salika comes in pair. But are encased in individual casing to keep it in excellent condition. The purpose for this takrut is for metta mahaniyom and metta mahasaneah .

Archan Chum , Mai Kru Small

This Mai Kru had been procured from a kamakarn(commitee) from Pattalung province. Excellent condition and well kept. Made from  black wood , and is filled with powder on top. Featured in Archan Chum's Tipaya Amnard book.

As everybody knows that only Mai Kru as pass down to disciples or family members from Pattalung lineages. Size is small and easy to carry around. Size is as small as a small ruler approx . 5 inch plus.

Mai Kru can be use for various purposes such as a meed moh. This Mai Kru is good for Metta , Klaew Klaad and all around protection.
